Garage terms

These terms apply when you create an ApexRank account, upload your cars or vote. By signing up you accept them. They're short: please read them.

1. The service

The Garage is a free weekly ranking: you upload photos of your cars, the community votes and the most voted car in each category is that week's #1. A new week starts every Monday at 00:00 (Spanish mainland time). It's a game between enthusiasts: the ranking isn't an official rating of any car and there are no prizes, unless expressly announced.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or over.
• One account per person, with a real email address of your own.
• You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for what's done with your account.

3. What you publish

You can only upload your own cars, or cars whose owner has given you permission. We recommend covering the number plate and keeping people out of the shot.

You can add your social profiles (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and Facebook) to your profile: they must be your own. Links and @usernames aren't allowed in car descriptions.

You may not publish (in photos, names, descriptions or profiles):

• photos of other people's cars without permission, or photos that aren't yours;
• offensive, violent, sexual, discriminatory or illegal content;
• other people's personal data, or social profiles that aren't yours;
• spam, links or advertising by professionals (dealers and car traders belong in the Brands section).

The photos, names and descriptions of your cars remain yours. By publishing them you give us a free, non-exclusive permission to host and display them on ApexRank, in link preview images when someone shares a link to the website, and in ApexRank posts promoting the ranking, always with your nickname. The permission ends when you delete the car or your account (except for what other people have already shared).

4. Fair votes

• One vote per car per week. You can't vote for your own cars.
• Getting votes with fake or multiple accounts, automated software or in exchange for money is forbidden.
• If we detect cheating, we may cancel votes, remove the car or close the accounts involved.

5. “For sale”

The “For sale” category is a free showcase between private individuals. ApexRank doesn't buy or sell cars, doesn't check the listings and takes no part in any deal: the sale is solely between buyer and seller. Never pay or put down a deposit without seeing the car and its paperwork. More tips in How it works.

6. Moderation

Anyone can report a car with the flag. We may remove without notice anything that breaks these terms and close accounts that do so repeatedly. If you think we've made a mistake, write to us at contacto@apexrank.info.

7. Liability

ApexRank is offered free of charge and as is. We do our best to keep it working well, but there may be interruptions or changes. We're not liable for what users publish or for deals between them.

8. Leaving

You can delete your account at any time in My garage → “Delete my account”. Your data is handled as explained in the privacy policy.

9. Changes

If we change these terms we'll say so on this page, and if the change is significant we'll let you know by email.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may go to the courts of your place of residence.
